Sound Design

Jason Jägel

Director and cinematographer Noe Chavez brought us in for this stunning short film about San Francisco-based visual artist, Jason Jägel. We worked directly with Noe to further develop his specific vision for sound design. We finished it off with the final mix, and were pleased when, as with others we’ve worked on, this spot was quickly named “Staff Pick” on Vimeo.

Kuri

Meet Kuri, a freakishly cute home robot by Mayfield Robotics. Billed as a “personal assistant, companion, and eyes and ears when you aren’t home”, these quirky spots were produced by the talented folks at Eleven Inc. We handled VO record, sound design, and final mix for their introductory campaign.

The Sierra Club

The Sierra Club seeks to protect the wild places of the earth and educate its inhabitants in the process. We’re extremely proud to have worked so closely with them for the better part of five years. Audiolux has been a part of countless animated projects for the organization, and you can see a few of our very favorites below.

WGU

It’s always a hoot to work with a spokesperson like Sage the Night Owl — a good thing, as we did a whopping 42 versions of these spots. Along with his little sidekick and the fine folks at Western Governors University, Sage led the vision that we then created VO, sound design, and final mix for. All production was completed with our friends at Eleven Inc.

Arlo

To launch Arlo, the new line of wireless and weatherproof home security systems by Netgear, we were happy to again join forces with the Heist Projects crew. Audiolux spearheaded sound design and final mix for a series of whimsical spots across the entire Arlo product range.

Hipcamp

We helped hone in post-production on these beautiful spots from the talented cinematographers of Avacodos & Coconuts. Created for campsite share and travel group, Hipcamp, we were thrilled to be able to craft sound design and final mix to blend in seamlessly with such lush video.

Get Precise, Get Anova

Longtime collaborator, Heist Projects, brought Audiolux to this comical campaign that challenges traditional cooking methods. The San Francisco-based startup, Anova, introduces the sous vide technique to the masses, and we were happy to lend our sound design and final mix talents to such a palatable cause.

Suzuki

We’ve been working with our good friends over at Questus for over five years on their Suzuki account. Our turn-key post-production — including casting, music supervision, editorial, motion graphics, finishing, and tagging — has brought them back year after year to handle many of their broadcast campaigns. We’re particularly proud of a past project in which we produced and trafficked 163 TV spots and 130 radio spots within a month after receiving initial storyboards and scripts.
